Popular Post Jess Posted April 9 Popular Post Posted April 9 Hey everyone! I had what I thought could be a fun idea to drive some donations to an awesome cause in the Canucks for Kids Fund Telethon, which will be happening on April 10, 2024 during (and after) our game against the Arizona Coyotes. https://www.canuckplace.org/telethon/ For myself, I thought I'd do a game where my donation is dependent on how the Canucks do in the game: - For every goal the team scores, I'll donate $5 (shootout goals don't count, but a shootout win counts as one) - For every period the Canucks hold the Coyotes scoreless, I'll donate $5 I'll donate whatever the result is at the end of the game. Obviously no pressure to donate, especially beyond your means. I also noticed that they have some incentives that might be relevant: Quote me if I don't hold up my end! 7 1 1 1 Quote

The Arrogant Worms Posted April 9 Posted April 9 I always donate to this. Great cause. My nephew passed away from Leukemia at 14 and benefited from Canucks Place. 4 Quote

Put up a link to donate so we can all access it during/after the game so we can also donate. Great thread AJ. 1 1 Quote

It gives them support, and love in the most heartbreaking circumstances. 1 Quote
Barnstorm Posted April 10 Posted April 10 I’m in. I’ll start with a minimum $25 and match each goal for with $5. Canucks organization provides me with untold hours of entertainment not to mention all the spin off discussion on radio and here. Its value is good at twice the price! 1 3 Quote
Gurn Posted April 10 Posted April 10 A big shout out to the Griffiths family and CKNW for getting this started all those years ago. A tradition worth keeping. 1 3 Quote
