What? OEL had 32 points this year, played 80 games, and averaged 18:30/games (including 1:30 PK min/game). He was a pretty big part of their team this season.

He still shouldn't be playing any time soon, seriously. I get the athletes have access to experts and care most people don't, but you just don't recover from something super quickly without making questionable health decisions (steroids and so on).

Likely not nearly as much as they should. There's likely more of a pharmaceutical operation behind closed doors for most NHL franchises than we realize. Lot of pressure to perform, to stay healthy, to not lose your spot, to not lose your job. 

 

It doesn't even have to relate to performance, it can relate to maintenance and recovery as well.

Tampa had only 1 shot in the first 16 minutes. Then they flipped a switch, got the equalizer, and came very close to going ahead with a breakaway with only a few seconds left in the period.

 

Looks like it’s going to be a close series.

Tampa is such a BOSS team , so much playoffs experience..

 

Were getting outshot 8 - 0 with 5 mins to go in period no panic no stress. Tied the game and took momentum over from FLD.
