Seattle Kraken regional games moving on to local TV stations!

"Starting this fall, all non-nationally televised Kraken games will be broadcast on KONG with 15 games simulcast on KING 5 in Seattle. Both stations are owned by TEGNA."

"Fans throughout the Pacific Northwest will be served even more expansively. TEGNA has reached arrangements to carry Kraken games not nationally televised (the NHL can
select up to 13 games for broadcast on TNT and ESPN channels) on KGW, the NBC affiliate in Portland and KREM, the CBS affiliate in Spokane."

Here's hoping they schedule all the Kraken/'nux games for Mondays, so that those of us without that fancy dancy Amazon Prime shit can watch the games.

Good.  It was bizarre how most Seattle residents couldn't watch the Kraken on tv.

Back in the day tons of Mariners games would be broadcast on KVOS. It was so easy to watch them and follow the team. Then they all disappeared and the only time you see the Mariners if if they're playing the Jays.

 

So dumb when you have about 4 million people between Vancouver and Victoria who could be made fans if only they were exposed to the product.

True.  35 year ago we could watch all Mariner games on TV.  Now about 10-15 games
