Sabrefan1 Posted May 10 Posted May 10 I thought I couldn't get more disgusted than when they tried to destroy the Mona Lisa. I was wrong. These idiots used 2 octogenarians in an attempt to destroy one of recorded histories greatest documents. I would really really like to see them try these stunts in China... I wonder if anyone broke it to the one lady that the plastic in her frames was created using oil. Same thing with the material used to create the handle on her hand sledge. Quote

PureQuickness Posted May 10 Posted May 10 It's pretty ironic that they don't know the history behind the history that they're trying to destroy. History isn't meant to be destroyed. It's a tool for you to learn - and it occasionally is used to manipulate people like these idiots. 2 1 Quote

Inkidu Posted May 10 Posted May 10 Cromwell, the onetime political leader, called it the "Magna Farta," which is gas, so at least their logic is good. Quote
bishopshodan Posted May 11 Posted May 11 What is the logic? Serious question. How do they think they will drum up support with these acts? They seem to piss off just about errrbody. I'm really curious what the thought process is. 1 Quote
Optimist Prime Posted May 11 Posted May 11 Yeah, this kind of terrorism is unacceptable and I favour very long prison terms for the culprits, both as a deterrent to them doing it again and to any copycats out there in future. 20 years would curtail future morons from destroying or trying to destroy historical works of global significance. 1 1 Quote

They think there will be sympathy by showing how far they would go for their cause, making it TRUE. Lots of that going around these days like a virus. Sad even the elderly are catching it. 1 1 1 Quote

I've seen the leaders of that movement asked the same question and they never have an answer beyond that they want to call up attention. 1 Quote
