My one positive take away from this game is that the Coilers will most likely play Skinner in game 7.
If we actually shoot the puck and test him we may get better results next game.

Young team just learned a big lesson about how hard it is to close out a series. Edmonton looked every bit the team that's been in that position before. 

 

Vancouver was clearly gripping sticks too tight all game.

Easily one of the worst efforts I seen all year, especially given the stage. Star players didn't play like they wanted it. And the score reflects that. Silovs let in a couple muffins. Team folded like a cheap tent after.

Was still there for the taking in second period.  Didn't elevate their game. 

 

Oils facing elimination and played like it.  

 

Nux need to regroup and win this at home.  

 

7-2-1 vs oils all year.   They got this.

Not super impressed with how Boeser and Miller have played the last couple of games. No scoring chances from them really. Cant win a game like that
