A bit of a surprise as he seemed to be one leaned on a bit by Tic Toc. Perhaps looks can be deceiving. He was in charge of the PK and for the first 3/4 or so was pretty good for Vancouver. Most of the playoffs the PK came through when it needed to. Now, the PP ... well ...

He certainly was a bit of a lightning rod - he was offered an extension but apparently turned it down. Perhaps there is a head coaching job on the horizon for MY - please let it be the Oilers.

There are going to be a number of happy posters.

Seems this guy is polarizing.

Usually when you get to pick instead of inherit it kinda works out..Sure did with PA and Jim.

The only team without a coach still is..... San Jose Sharks.  Good luck Mike! 🙄

“Say no to Yeo!”

A poster (can’t remember who) said this when rumours of his hiring first came out.  It made me laugh and it stuck with me for some reason.  It became the first thing I thought of whenever anyone brought him up.  Lol

quite the opposite.  Tocchett has been described by others as a very strong x & o’s guy.

very evident by his detail oriented

So was Yeo though, even more so. That was his strong suit.
