(Discussion) Attempting to rejuvenate a career

I have a high risk free agent that I don’t think has really been discussed yet. Kevin Labanc. At his peak, he’s been a quality point producing top 6 winger. He’s also had a lot of injuries the past few years and has been plagued by being on terrible Sharks teams. His UFA value has gotta be low. I think he can be had on a 1 or 2 year show me deal. He’s not the greatest defensive forward but he’s capable and competent. I can’t imagine he’d come at too high a price. I could see him being a good fit with Miller, or Lindholm if he’s kept. Thoughts?

doesnt strike me as a guy who can play RT hockey or fit in our room or thrive in a Canadian market like ours

Hard pass. I had him in a the GFL fantasy league (shout out anyone interested go hit up Gator in the fantasy section there's teams available) so I watched him pretty carefully this year to see if I would resign him. Absolutely nothing about his play made me think he has more to give. Obviously I could be wrong, but this isn't the type of player I'm hoping to see us go after.
