HKSR Posted June 4 Posted June 4 So just thinking about Tocchet's coaching habits, and I feel like what we need more of than anything else is a really strong forward group that can produce enough offence to offset the extreme defensive game we seem to play. Not gonna clutter things too much here, but what this entails is: Acquire for pennies on the dollar due to the cap situations in VGK and TBL: William Karlsson Erik Cernak Tanner Jeannot Traded to acquire the pieces for above players... likely just picks and prospects: Filip Hronek Conor Garland Ilya Mikheyev UFA Signings: Guentzel at $9M AAV Forbort at $3M AAV Lyubushkin at $3M AAV New Line-Up: Guentzel-Pettersson-Karlsson Suter-Miller-Boeser Jeannot-Blueger-Hoglander Podkolzin-Aman-PDG Hughes-Cernak Soucy-Myers Forbort-Lyubushkin Quote

bh90 Posted June 9 Posted June 9 I like these proposals. I agree with your train of thoughts if we can't resign our top UFAs than I think we should take advantage of other cap strapped teams and if we take on a big cap hit contract than at least with only 1-2 years left on it. If we go into the UFA market and give put 5 x 5 contracts it's going to kill our flexibility long term 1 Quote
