Drive-By Body Pierce Posted June 5 Author Posted June 5 (edited) My phone hates me. Please, anyone, feel free to post the article. ...perhaps a long shot, but it would be awesome to have Burr back in the organization. Edited June 5 by Drive-By Body Pierce Quote
DeNiro Posted June 5 Posted June 5 Bring in the best person for the job, period. I have a hard time believing that would be burrows. It would start feeling a little too country club with the Sedins, Higgins, Malhotra and then Burrows added to the mix. 1 1 1 Quote

24K Posted June 5 Posted June 5 Is Burrows contract up or something? Why would he do this otherwise? It is a lateral move. Quote

Satchmo Posted June 5 Posted June 5 It looks like one guy's random thought started all this. (Might be cool to get Burr though) 'During a segment on Sekeres and Price where fans send in questions and comments, one person made a bold take, saying that former Canuck Alex Burrows would join the team as an assistant coach, which was then discussed on the podcast.' 1 Quote

Would be a total douche move on mtl if the did that. Edited June 5 by 24K Quote

Wouldn't make sense to release a coach under contract as assistant and associate really have the sane job responsibilities. Quote
