R3aL
ID like to sign Nick Blankenburg as our mark Friedman replacement. He could have some upside working with our coaching staff too. Not sure if they are a fan of his game though or his size.

DeNiro
A good offseason to wait it out and get guys that overvalue themselves and are forced to sign cheap. 1 1
Canuckpuckluck1
Can we sign OEL at league minimum, get Gonchar to work some magic and then trade him for something worthwhile? At least that way we get something for our $4.7 spend for the next 2 years

No one should be mentioned in the same breath. Im just a gossip hound and love playing armchair GM with everyone else here. This is such an exciting part of the hockey year too for all of us so doing my part to annoy everyone with the latest dirt sheet material. Blitz-Pix
OEL should come back and play RD for us (for free) seeing as how we're paying him anyway. LOL Looking good this playoffs, he'd definitely fit in our 3rd pairing Edited June 7 by Blitz-Pix

higgyfan
There's some really good players in the UFA market this year; many of which would be a great fit on the Canucks. It's hard to put a price on some of them, because their team may raise the anti to keep them. I've put together some that will make the team stronger. There is also the possibility for a Hogs/Mik for ? and Hronek trade for Necas + ? C. Stevens 4.4m JT 8m Brock 6.5m Duclair 4.4 EP 11.6m Perron 5m (or Necas 7.5) Van Riemsdick 1.8m Blue 2m M. If you get him on a one or two year deal for a couple million to play with petey and bridge the gap until Lek is more ready for primetime, it might not be a terrible idea. He showed, this season, that he can still be a top 6 fwd and pp weapon 1
