Guest
The Leafs can get him, but they still need their top guys to show up and score in the playoffs.

He will be playing behind a very similar team to the 2019-20 Canucks if he gets traded to Ottawa. Not sure if he can still carry a team the way he did 5 years ago, but Green is going to count on him to do so if he does indeed gets traded to Ottawa. They are too far off to become a contender in the next 2 seasons.

I don't see it as well. But his relation really soured with Calgary, and he likely doesn't want to be back in Calgary. If it comes to it, he might waive for any team just to get out of Calgary. Aka, the Nate Schmidt route.
HKSR
To CGY Mitch Marner To TOR Jacob Markstrom TOR unloads massive cap, but gives up very solid value. CGY gets a very good forward that can round out their top 9. Possibly play on a line with Kuzmenko to take on the defensive responsibilities of the line. Huberdeau-Kadri-Sharangovich Marner-Backlund-Kuzmenko (Marner and Backlund will offset Kuzmenko's weak defensive game) Coleman-Zary-Mangiapane
