Coconuts
No, not that one, the other one. The one that sent him to Florida in the first place. As we all know, good ol' Bobby Luo is getting his third crack at a cup so we're going down memory lane, mostly because I found a few things and think they're hilarious. Roughly 4:06 on the video for Parrish's side of it. Milbury was something special.
nergish
Sounds oddly similar to what Nonis said in trading for Luongo. He called Keenan about moving Bertuzzi, and Keenan said "I guess that starts with Roberto, eh?". Nonis cupped the phone's mouthpiece with his hand, chortled to himself gleefully, and said "You betcha."

He brought in an important player at a time the team was known as a goalie graveyard. A lot of core players were brought in under his watch. And he didn't cave in to ownership's demands to make a trade, that he didn't want. You'd think that reason alone would make him a folk hero here. Did he trade some 2nd rounders he shouldn't have? Yes. But overall he left the team in far better shape when he was let go than a lot of Canuck GM's. Edited June 12 by Ghostsof1915

He also had one of the best non-deals in Franchise history for Richards, which you might have alluded to in your post. He changed the team from an all-out offensive team to a solid defensive team with reliable star goaltending.

He also was fired right when it was his big moment to finally splurge in the market with lots of cap space.
