Hammertime
Feels like this guy has been around forever. He's only 31 put up 26g last year. Maybe he's got a couple years in the tank?

Only 2 years left on his deal. I could see Alvin targeting this type of player. Placeholder for Lekkermaki possibly

DeNiro
I’ll take Saad at 4.5 over Joshua at 4. Obviously there’s acquisition cost involved but it might not be too high. Maybe they just want cap space.
Ballisticsports
He has been involved in trades with Canuck players in the past , and now his turn to be one? (even one involving Big Z) The Blackhawks traded Artemi Panarin and Tyler Motte to Columbus for Saad, Anton Forsberg and a fifth-round pick in the 2018 draft

Elias Pettersson
I'd prefer Pavel Buchnevich. Probably should have went after him last deadline instead of Lindholm. That way he would still be signed for one more year...

RWJC
Blues Rumors: Brandon Saad Available for Trade Michael DeRosa Thursday, June 13, 2024 The St. Louis Blues are in the middle of a retooling period and could see some notable changes to their roster this offseason. It is clear that their group would benefit by making some adjustments, and GM Doug Armstrong is exploring all of his options because of it. According to NHL insider Frank Seravalli, the Blues have made forward Brandon Saad available for trade. Saad, 31, is coming off an excellent season with the Blues, as he had 26 goals to go along with 42 points in 82 games played. It was the second most goals he scored in a season throughout his entire career, and his trade value is naturally higher because of it. Due to this, the Blues would certainly expect a nice return for the 2011 second-round pick if they were to move him. With the Blues in a retooling period, it may make sense to move Saad now because of his heightened value. Teams are always looking for forwards with 25-goal potential, and it also does not hurt that he plays a steady defensive game along with it. We will need to wait and see what happens with Saad this offseason, but there should be a lot of interest in his services over the next several weeks. https://www.nhltraderumors.me/2024/06/blues-rumors-brandon-saad-available-for.html
