Alexandre Carrier as a UFA Target?

In a world where we sign Myers for ~$2.5, what're yall's thoughts on Carrier as a 2RHD? He seems like a solid player from the games I have watched of him, and salary projections have him at about ~$3.25x2 which I think is a reasonable price to fill out the D corps. I've included a quick CapFriendly mock that includes Guentzel at $9.5, I want to know what others think. (In this world, Mikheyev is sent to Utah/SJ/Chi along with a 2nd or 3rd round to clear his cap). The money for Motte can be divvied up to give Myers, Šilovs, and Edmundson more accurate contracts, but I had to include him in the roster for vibes (and to attract Bedard back home).

 

I also think that Janmark will resign with Edm, but if not, he has proven to be an incredible PKer and could really help our PK I think, price is probably unrealistic in this mock too though, I mostly want to focus on Carrier here.

There's no way players are signing for as cheap as you are projecting such as Tyler Myers and Joshua. Edmundson is a shell of his former self, I would not want him on our team.

I would be fine if we sign him as another depth D. I thought he looked solid in our series against the Preds. Scored a big goal for the Preds in Game 5 to avoid elimination. He is also RHD, if it isn't a high cap hit, he would also be a good add.
