Popular Post the destroyer of worlds Posted June 25, 2024 Popular Post Posted June 25, 2024 Shea Weber gets in the Hall of Fame before his contract is up. Cool cool. 1 11 1 Quote
Kevin Biestra Posted June 25, 2024 Posted June 25, 2024 (edited) Jeremy Roenick...bodes well for my boys Bernie Nicholls and Theo Fleury. Weber might bode well eventually for Randy Carlyle. Colin Campbell...hey finally someone from the 82 Canucks. They certainly could have inducted a 4th player...be it Nicholls, Fleury, Brind'Amour, Dave Taylor, Krutov, Ron Hextall, JC Tremblay, Randy Carlyle, Rick Middleton, Neal Broten, Mogilny, Tim Kerr, Brian Propp, Reggie Leach, etc. Edited June 25, 2024 by Kevin Biestra 1 Quote
greenbean30 Posted June 25, 2024 Posted June 25, 2024 I honestly don't think Weber should have gotten in. He was a good player, but I don't put him as one of the greats. But seems like the Hall of Fame has lost some of its meaning and is easier to get in. 1 1 Quote

Five times top 4 for the Norris, post-season All Star 4x. That would probably do the job I think in any era. It's not Coffey or Bourque level but not out of line with Housley, Zubov etc. Edited June 25, 2024 by Kevin Biestra 1 Quote

I've moved on past the stuff he did at NHL HQ. Quote

Weber brings two Olympic golds, a World Championship gold and silver, a Canada Cup gold, and a World Junior gold to the table as well. 2 2 2 Quote

Those Olympics go a long way for Weber...and Luuuuuu. Campbell's fellow 82 Canuck Ivan Hlinka may still have hope. Edited June 25, 2024 by Kevin Biestra 1 Quote

Yeah the guy still did us more good than harm over the years I think in the final analysis. But my goodness...Campbell in the HHOF before King Richard even gets the ROH. 1 1 Quote

Congratulations to Utah for having their first player in franchise history inducted into the HoF! Now if Utah can convince him to wear their colours for the induction… Quote
Wheres Wellwood Posted June 25, 2024 Posted June 25, 2024 How is Weber eligible? Wasn't he still playing like 4 years ago? Quote

I think Theo's story adds much more to his legacy than it takes away. Mogilny like Barrasso was just not that well liked...but I don't care about that stuff. 1 Quote
DeltaSwede Posted June 25, 2024 Posted June 25, 2024 I honestly thought Roenick would undeservedly go without being ever put in the HOF Quote
