DexM94 Posted July 5 Posted July 5 quick proposal to open the debate could he rounds up our top 6 ? 1st 2025 and Suter + prospect for Zegras ? Quote
Warhippy Posted July 5 Posted July 5 I'd love to see Zegras here. Everyone was and is hot on Necas which is great. But Zegras for me was the slightly younger better option. The valuation is too high for me though knowing that Zegras is going to want a $6+ million contract so giving up a prospect they'd want like Lekkerimaki or Willander and another 1st when we're in a dearth of picks for the next 2-3 seasons already is a bit high 1 Quote
Guest Posted July 5 Posted July 5 I'd only be interested if we could get him cheap. We won't be able to get him cheap, so no deal. Quote
Ghostsof1915 Posted July 5 Posted July 5 (edited) Zegras doesn't strike me as a Tocc kind of forward. Besides why would the Ducks let him go for cheap? Edited July 5 by Ghostsof1915 1 1 Quote

Nucker67 Posted July 5 Posted July 5 Speaking of Anaheim, If there was a way, somehow, of trading for Mason MacTavish (maybe sign and trade). MacTavish - Miller - Boeser DeBrusk - Pettersson - Hoglander Joshua - Blueger - Heinen Suter - ? - Sherwood 1 Quote

That would cost a massive amount to trade for him. Easily our 1st plus our best prospect to start off. Maybe toss Hoglander in there. Zegras would be fun, but I'm not sure our cap space can accommodate him. $5.75 for 2 more years I believe and we have like 2.5 free with Poolman on LTIR. Would need to move more then just Suter and a prospect I think. Quote

Was the guy I was hoping to get before OEL was traded, was supposed to be available around 10, 3rd wasn't a stretch at all. Guenther was the back-up plan. McTavish. Captain material for sure. JT Miller is likely where he's headed. Crappy team, and already making an impact against some tough competition. Plus he looks right out of slaphot. Edited August 2 by IBatch 1 Quote
