Not much of a gambler but I won 40$ beans off a scratch off once..

 

Won a pair of nose bleeds from my bank during the Cloutier era....Our row got flashed by this old drunk hag...Kinda looked like a crackhead...

 

Probably the most expensive thing I've ever won was a Samsung Tablet years back @ a work Xmas party.

 

 

Still waiting for the jackpot....Good things come to those who wait!

I used to play online poker tournaments quite a bit. Usually made the money, breaking even for the most part. I did have a slew of top 5 finishes out of fields of 8,000-12,000 players, winning one of them for $4.5K ($22 USD buy-in). Total, probably around $15k in the green by the time I stopped playing.

However, one night I walked by the TV and the local morning show was advertising ' tune in tomorrow for your chance to win a $500 gift card from a sports store'

 

i casually turned to my wife ' you watch that show, can you win that for me? I need new gofl clubs'

 

Next morning my wife woke me by calmly saying... "I just won that gift card. The hosts think I'm the best because when he asked me what i was going to spend it on...i told them on air that my hubby needs new golf clubs!"

 

btw, she is the best.

I have won 25,000 on a Keno ticket about 5 years ago or so. Diamond pattern play)

 

About 32  years ago I won $20,000 on a Bingo scratch and win ticket.

 

Won $1000  3/4 on the extra 4 times (1 time the 4th number was 1 off or it would have been $500,000)

 

Won $1200 o na basketball Toto ticket 20 years ago

 

Won a $2000 BBQ by finishing 1st in a Duncan hockey pool years ago

 

I win $400 on the Keno Diamond pattern play play all the time as well as 3 $2000 wins(you have to cash those at the Nanaimo Casino)

 

My friends hate me needless to say.
