UnkNuk
100 Things Canucks Fans Should Know & Do Before They Die by Thomas Drance and Mike Halford (2017) This book has probably been mentioned before, either in this forum or the earlier one. But I just came across it a while ago and I've found it enjoyable reading. It's basically a history of the Vancouver Canucks from their entry into the NHL in 1970 through to 2014 divided up into 100 (very) short chapters. For anyone who has followed the Canucks since 1970, the book will bring back memories - both good and bad. The 1982 Cup run, the Vaive & Derlago trade, Quinngate and a whole bunch of names I had forgotten but had once known as well as we know today's roster. For younger fans, it's a good way to learn about the history of our favourite hockey team. If you're looking for something hockey-related to get you through to the start of next season, this might do the trick. 2
JeremyCuddles
Drance? Eh, I think I am okay not reading it. I am also not old enough for pre-2000 nostalgia. I don't doubt it's probably an interesting read. I just dislike Drance enough to avoid it on principle. Lol. I know it's dumb, but I am dumb.
