He put money into it after buying it.  That front office wasn't cheap. but still great return on investment.

It's a fact that money creates money. Hard work is certainly part of it, but without money, no money is to be made.

How much has he retained in earnings, and paid himself as well over that time.  I'm sure that those expenses were written off during the course of its growth.   TB area, is probably the nicest part of Florida too, St Petersburg ... a lot of wealth.   Too lazy to look at their reported financials.   The owner deserves a pay day at some point, and for Vinik he's selling high.

He's selling majority stake, but He's still going to be in charge.
