Don Brodka Jr
The league is broken again.. No way Beniers deserved that contract coming out of his entry level deal.. 1

It’s a great deal for Seattle. It will probably be a bargain for them not long from now. I would have signed a shorter term deal worth a little less if I were him, so he could really cash in. 1

It's like Pandora's box, there's no putting things back how they were, may as well accept it GM's did it to themselves Edited August 20 by Coconuts

You can find much better value at a cheaper cap hit.. I completely understand why he signed that deal.. I would've LEAPED at 7 years if I were him.. I think this contract will be the opposite, not even close to a bargain.. It's going to look exactly like a Laine Contract in a few years..

Bob Long
Good for him. I don't know if he has a chance to live up to it, but it won't be anything close to what others are making in 3-4 years and he'll just be in his prime.
Kragar
So, the ultimate dollars to donuts contract?
JeremyCuddles
37 points last season. They wanted their own Josh Norris contract? I get everyone wants to get ahead of contracts. We'll overpay in the short term and potentially (potentially being the key word) this guy is a bargain in the long term. I dunno. Maybe I am just old school and out of touch. I think he'll be a good player. So I guess it's whatever if he's overpaid a season or two.
Jess
I expect this could be a massive steal tbh. I feel like he's gonna be a 70+ point player pretty soon. That said, eventually someone is gonna get majorly burned on one of these.

GrammaInTheTub
I think he’ll hit 65-70pts next year and this will be a very good contract. Not Jack Hughes good, but very good.
King Heffy
Reminds me a lot of the MacKinnon contract in Colorado. Betting big on it being an absolute bargain later in his career when they can surround him with more talent.

I swear people said similar things when the likes of Jack Hughes, Thompson, Stutzle, Brady Tkachuk, etc signed their big contracts coming out of their ELCs... Drakrami
Cant argue that Boeser is overpaid any more. Our cap situation is about to suck when Boeser/Hughes/Demkos' contracts are up.

Not sure he's on their level, but teams need to look up the young talent you have.
PeteyBoeser
Makes us look better by never giving Boeser more than 6 mil
