ARE THE CANUCKS GETTING A JUMP START THIS YEAR AGAIN..SOME PLAYERS I REALIZE HAVE BEEN SKATING AT HOME .BUT I SUPPOSE THE NHL WILL GET ON YOU IF YOU START REAL NHL PRACTICES TO EARLY.

NHL practices is defined as having NHL coaching staff on the ice with the players... there is nothing in the rulebook saying that, say, Miller can't put a whistle around his neck and start their sessions.

Hope the boys do get together on the ice by themselves like last year. It seemed to be part of the reason the team had a good start to the season.

I love the fact that a couple of our players are getting some ice time in together (with Bieksa and others coaching). It's a charity deal for mental health and other NHL players are involved as well. Just shaking off the rust stuff.

 

Liking the bonding process that's coming through this (Joshua, Juulsen, Bains, Heinen, etc.).

I love this event, very casual. Come in, sit wherever. Not very crowded....lots of kids tearing around, having a great time.

 

This is year 2 for me and I'll watch for this every year. Well worth the time to go see these guys jump back in. I love some of the drills they do.

Seeing the photos on Canucks instagram of some of our core getting back and out there on the ice early has me overjoyed. I was so excited when this culture shift happened last year and the dividends we saw immediately. Seeing it again - we have a good thing cookin here
