Ghostsof1915 Posted September 5 Posted September 5 Had a lot of hype when he was younger. Injuries killed his career. But he still managed to be a rock steady defenceman. 1 Quote
King Heffy Posted September 5 Posted September 5 Rangers making a really questionable hiring given Staals history of open bigotry. 3 Quote
Jess Posted September 6 Posted September 6 Got a 5th place Norris vote back in 2010-11 when he scored his career-best 29 points. Not exciting, but effective during his prime. Quote

Think it actually pumped his tires his draft year and thereafter for a bit. Definitely a solid hockey family. I'm also started to feel my age remembering this crap lol, they seemed pretty young at the time and now they are retired. Watched the Sutters...missed the Hulls thankfully! Who's the greatest hockey brother's of all-time? Or got the most points? Believe it's Keith and Wayne Gretzky despite all those Sutters. The Hulls..maybe the Hughes brothers can give it a go. If you're talking about the greatest brothers of all time, I think it has to be the Espositos. The Richards would be pretty close if your ignore Claude. The Hughes brothers could definitely be in the running when all is said and done. Quinn already has a Norris and may win a couple more, Jack certainly has the potential to win an Art Ross and Hart, and Luke could also have a Norris year. 1 Quote

The Stastny's were pretty great too. Peter would have been fighting Hawerchuk if it wasn't for Gretzky as the greatest of his decade and his brother's weren't too shabby either. Sutter's are without peer in quantity. Hughes are fun to have, especially because QHs is ours for awhile longer anyways. The Staals were a pretty big deal when they came onto the scene too. Our Sutter was a nephew, and for sure belongs to the greatest hockey family of all-time. 1 Quote
