Joshua recovering from Testicular Cancer surgery

Terrible news but glad he got it treated early.

Testicular cancer incidence is highest among those ages 20 to 39.  When in doubt, get it checked guys.

Phil Kessel had it and got it treated in time during his rookie year.   Had a great career since winning two cups.

Jesus, glad the removal went well.

Goes to show that cancer doesn't give a fuck how healthy you are, given Joshua's a professional athlete, it can affect everyone. Better to be safe than sorry.

Illnesses are strange. A lot of regular people who aren’t in the best shape, like myself got Covid and have recovered, but an athlete in tip top shape, like Brandon Sutter, had his playing career ended by it. I wish he still was still playing and hopefully DJ heals up soon.

So glad they caught it early and were able to give him the treatment he needs. Best of luck to him as he continues to recover. Looking forward to seeing him back on the ice soon. Fuck cancer. Thoughts are with anyone and everyone who is battling this awful disease or any health issue

But is it too much to ask that we just have a quiet offseason for once?

Goalie injuries, goalie coach controversy, Boeser with his blood clots, and now this.

We are in a canucks vacuum. You can find stories similar to what you mentioned for most teams during most years.

Injuries that cant be fixed with surgery, blood clots, and cancer?  Only team dealing with more is Columbus.

Had it when I was 19. Saying should be the same for him as it was for me. " My one is bigger than most guys two"

First surgery was the removal, the second one to remove a couple lymph nodes was tough. Luckily it didn't spread and I hope he's in the same predicament.

Need him out there but health comes first
