Yeah that is a nice and cheap contract.

What does this mean for our cap space?

Puckpedia says we have $190,833 in space, without Lankinen's contract. Assuming Silovs goes down to the A again, will Demko be ready to start the season? Or how is that going to work?

That or we can waive Aman or pdg down.

Lankinen's basically on league min, so Silovs would go down once Demko is healthy I'd assume. Shouldn't affect the cap.

Has he played NHL game? Was he Jusso’s backup last year? Why’s everyone liking him?

Seider was Luongo’s backup. Demko was Markstrom’s backup. This guy is the next great goalie who was behind a great goalie. And we got him for cheap! He might be the guy in nets when we win the Cup June 2025. He’s that good.

20-14-1 with a .912 save percentage over the last couple of years, more than capable back up numbers.

Yup. He would be an Ian Clarke pushed for guy.
New management trusts their supporting staff. They trust Clarke.

3 threads for this signing? He must be the second coming of Patrick Roy lol.

Deb @-dlc- will be along shortly to combine them all

And yes, good news for us so the songbirds have woken up today.

Gives Tic-Toc and whomever is the goalie coach options.

hahahaha

He’s 29 with 115 career nhl  games average at best stats.

he’s a back up plan for our unfortunate goaltending situation and he’s basically the only decent goalie available and he’s 29 year old $875 ufa for a reason and Great isn’t it.

good no risk signing for a bit of insurance.

I think he buys time for Demko to heal up, not to rush Demko. I'm thinking like an upgrade on DeSmith but cheaper and younger.

A good solid back up for Silovs a nice 1-2 tandem that buys us time to watch Demko's health process.

Silovs will backup Lankonen. When Demko is healthy, Silovs goes to Abby. This new guy is really good. He will push Demko for the number 1 role. Steal of a deal.
