Someone was asking about Briser earlier.

Brisbois didn't even get any game action. Figured he's too far down the depth chart now?

It might have to do more with his concussion recovery. He basically missed all of last season and only played a few games in Abbotsford at the tail end of the season and didn;t play in any of Abby's playoff games. He might be catching up conditioning wise.

 

Woo is the bigger surprise here that he was cut so early. Before the likes of HIrose, McWard, Wolanin, Kudryavtsev, Felton, and Mynio. Starting to think that the coaching staff aren't super high on him.

I guess Breezer's health history now makes him much less likely to ever be a reliable call up.

 

Woo is a little surprising, but in all reality he hasn't turned any heads for a couple years now. We have too many solid NHL guys, and he is getting leap frogged by some of the younger draft picks.

 

We do need to clear the cupboard of guys who just wont ever pan out.

OR…. They are sending him down early to have a better chance of getting him through waivers. Personally I didn’t get to see much of the game, but did see he had one nice hit in the few minutes I got to watch

There just haven't been too many folks waived yet, we'll likely see more of it soon

We don't have the benefit of @Vintage Canuck's services here, so it's kinda been update by committee to a certain extent.

I would imagine both make it through this early in the pre season. But even still, neither has a very high ceiling at this point.

They've always been very average prospects IMO and never fit for the NHL, especially Woo. The Woo hype train here is unreal, so many people saying he could be a good partner for Hughes. LOL.

Woo would have been such a fun player on the Canucks if he found a way to elevate his game. My guess is we’ll never see him play in Van

I would not be surprised to see both clear. 

What I'm more shocked is Hirose is still on the team.

Neither are close to NHL calibre. They'll both get through. Woo is at best a top pairing AHL guy, but I'm not sure he's even that.
