The last 2 games relying on the stream + audio from the radio broadcast sucks, especially last night's game where the only footage we got was the jumbo tron footage in Seattle which was just cringy. However, it's still much better than pre-Seattle days when we had to play the Sharks in pre-season in San Jose and those games weren't even broadcasted. As in no footages at all, it's all radio. Those days sucked.

The Duke
CFC has been fairly even keeled but Twitter seems to be in midseason form freaking out about Petey’s play and Miller… not playing. Did we not learn anything from last pre-season? These games mean nothing to the vets beyond a tune-up. Fun to watch prospects like Raty and Mynio come in and shine or new pieces like DeBrusk and Sherwood do their thing. Also, nice to see the goalies all looking capable out there. Who knows how Petey will do once regular season starts… but pre season is a tricky thing to use as a measuring stick. 2

Nucker67
I'm hoping to see Alriksson and Kudryavtsev play tonight. Excited that Canucks hockey is coming back. Have to keep in mind all of these games are basically tryouts and practice, and the results aren't too important. Nice to win though. I've got a feeling that Blueger could be close to returning. Maybe he'll be ready to start the season? Heinen - Miller - Boeser DeBrusk - Pettersson - Sprong Hoglander - Suter - Garland Di Giuseppe - Blueger - Sherwood Aman ...is my guess It seems it wasn't too long ago the Canucks prospect cupboards were pretty bare and now they have many in the system (Lekkerimaki, Raty, Bains, Karlsson, Alriksson, Fernstrom, DPetey, Kudryavtsev, McWard, Mynio, Willander, etc) The present and future look bright.

Peteys eye test on effort and engagement goes back 40 games. This 100 percent means something. We all want him to do good but this is not a point production thing....it's a try thing. Most of us are 30 years or more invested. It's totally OK to be concerned. Edited September 28 by ronning4center 2

To this day, I honestly don't mind a radio broadcast - especially if I'm in the car or at work and can't watch on TV (which is rare, but has happened when I've had to work during an early game). 1 1

Rypien-Punch
I would love to see Myers play up front tonight on Petterssons line Debrusk Miller Boeser Hoglander Pettersson Myers Bains Suter Garland Heinen Sasson Sherwood Hughes Felton Forbort Hronek Soucy Desjarnais 1 1
Taphouse Canuck
The Canucks website is useless. 3 hours to puck drop and they have nothing on the game tonight. Maybe they can't get anyone to work on a weekend!

Goose
Hope Aman rekindles what me appreciate him as a player when he first joined the Canucks. His skating/work rate combined w his range was really effective. Bleugar is a great player comp for him when hes at his best. He’s in danger of getting surpassed by Raty and Sasson
