Raty should be a lock also...

anyays, People have all the answers but..Just thinking..

This is where I say the quiet part out loud..again...The dude showed up. Give the youngins' some time to play in the biggs..A few less player's signed would have saved us some money to sign someone like.. dunno..Can't think of a strong physical D-man..

This isn't really relevant to this thread but I'll humour you.

With Zadorov, we give our younger players the message that we'll cater to salary demands to keep people we like. Without, we don't require LTIR and instead kept both Blueger and Joshua, and we're still under the cap. If we still keep both somehow, we don't sign Sherwood, Lankinen, Sprong, Desharnais, etc. That contract made no sense for us at the time, and frankly it's beyond time for us to move on as a fanbase. He elevated his play during a contract year, there's no guarantee he's still going to be the same player for the next *six* years.

Looks like a steal for a 4th rounder so far. We'll see if he has NHL level in him eventually. Maybe if he's good enough he can get some Abby time at the end of the year.

Sent down to Junior, this was a parting gift as Dhaliwal was saying

Alriksson is gonna be a heckuva bottom 6 guy for this franchise in a few years.  6'6" 234lbs at 19yo.  Wouldn't surprise me if he grows another inch and puts on another 5 to 10 pounds by the time he hits his mid 20s.

Heck yeah.  Did not look out of place and even fought a veteran without problems.  Excited to follow his progression.

Side note; this management team is starting to show it's scouting prowess.  The prospect pool seems to get deeper each year and that's without our 1st and 2nd last year.  Fenstrom playing in the SHL off to a good start as well.
