Canucks 2024-2025 season BOLD predictions

HEY YOU!

 

As we embark on a new season, what are your bold predictions for this Canucks team whether realistic or highly improbable?? Put it in this thread and let's reflect back at the end to see how close or accurate we are. Here are mine:

 

- Hughes, Miller, and Pettersson each put up over 100 points this year

- Boeser with his second straight 40+ goal season

- Hoglander and Debrusk hit the 30 goal mark

- Either Boeser is traded at the TDL or he signs a 5 year x 8.5 million dollar contract extension 

- Sherwood becomes our unsung hero for this season

- Sprong becomes a mainstay on the top PP unit

- Allvin wins GM of the year

 

AND

Canucks beat the Kings, Oilers, Avalanche, and Rangers enroute to their first ever Stanley Cup

Canucks and Leafs both make the final and the earth is promptly hit by a meteor

Somehow despite the lack of a practice facility, the Front Office won't have a lot of heat thrown their way, and maybe at most will be asked about it like 3 times over the course of the season.

At least one Canucks road game is delayed/postponed due to US election results (Canucks are in Calif on election day)

I expect that "The Cult" will be pissed and cause trouble if Trump loses but the Dems won't if they lose because they are mostly made up of "Normal" people.
