Fans are so quick to give up on players it’s unreal…

Are you this impatient in all aspects of your life?

Listen Grandpa... We simply can't afford another slow start... The Cinderella story of St. Louis Blues only happens once in a blue moon!

I was being sarcastic but I sure wanna see Lekkerimaki soon... His speed, energy and hunger to score is sorely missed right now with this team!!

Agreed.

I think Desharnais and Sprong need to be back in the lineup and layoff the line juggling.

3 games in and the sky is falling ffs haha

“Grandpa” lol

Definitely no grandpa, but if I had to guess your age I would say early 20’s based on your impatience.

You’re really gonna bring up the Blues? Last time I checked it’s not January it’s game 4.

Would love some added toughness. Does Lemieux bring that? Yes. Does he bring anything else? not really. Pass.

Trust me, you would want Lemieux over Aman.... Lemieux will crash and burn for your 4th line, got speed and grit, can win fights and protect our smaller, softer guys... offers much more than Aman!! Sure he can't produce a lot of points but not a minus player either!!

We brought in Blais on PTO hoping he could get back to his old form... he might get up to speed with Abby but Lemieux is probably in better shape and only makes $775k.... low cost rental!!

Wouldn’t be totally against it but I don’t see a spot for him when Joshua is healthy.

No need to trash Heinen either. Sure he’s a had a slow start but so has the rest of the team. If you waived every player that didn’t perform for three games you’d have no team left.

Lemieux is a slightly better version of Sammy Blais. While I wouldn't mind another bruiser in the lineup, even when Joshua comes back, we could do better.

Really?? so we are better off holding on to Aman who can basically just skate around.... can't hit, can't score, can't win face-offs.....

no... I was just hoping for either Claude or Mario

Lemieux is a fun idea. Him and Sherwood at the very least will be making life miserable for the 8-10 minutes they'd be on the ice together. Not sure I'd claim him though. Unless we're pretty certain the Heinen experiment is over after only just 3 games. Feels a bit kneejerk though. Let him cook a little longer. I am sure another Lemieux will hit the waivers at some point down the line if we do decide for whatever reason some waiver bum is better than what we have up front.

Deniro, when attempting to guess the posters age. You really should of said "You talking to me....you talking to me?" See if they understand the quote. Lol.

Also new to the team, takes a min to gel with new teams

It’s not so much that we lose as who we lost too. But some counter points are… we had about 12-15 non nhl players in our lineup until the last game of the preseason.  Teams like Calgary and Philly ran pretty much their nhl roster for the last 4-games of preseason.

As for Lemieux, no it doesn’t fit in with the European super soft identity we try for here. The team should match the identity of the city it’s in, that’s why Canucks can’t have gritty tough players here any longer.
