Im really impressed with Lankinens play along the boards and his stick work. Its a highlight of his game. His contol of the puck takes away so much of the scramble for the defenders, allows the team to re set. 

He has been a shinning light for the early part of the season for me

Good game. It's always about the next game. Constant improvement and consistency should be the goal.

I’m pleased!! Even though I predicted 5-2.

 

There was nothing Lanky could do about goals 2 and 3. Not his fault. Goal number two took a funny bounce over Myers’ stick and landed right on Hall’s stick and number three was a long ass (fake ass) 5 on 3.

And even goal number one was a missed defensive assignment.

 

I thought Brannstrom looked good. Quite good. Even had a good shot that went off the cross bar.

 

This was the first game where the opposition didn’t mount a strong offensive for a good part of if not the second half of the game.

 

Just getting better all the time now that our in season full line up preseason warm up is over.
