Canuck You Posted November 15 Posted November 15 Be nice if 1 of our 8 ft d-men drop the mitts once in awhile and install some fear in the opps but they're too busy learning how to play D. 1 1 Quote

Pianoman Posted November 15 Posted November 15 The grass is always greener on the other side isn’t it lol. We don’t need that. Would rather have players who play hard with an edge, over someone that happens to be a good fighter Quote

But standing there and trading shot after shot isn't what I call a "good" fighter. Quote
Hammertime Posted November 15 Posted November 15 (edited) Gadjo's a beaut. Would love to have him on the team. Dillion and Mcdermott on back to back nights fucking warrior. Edited November 15 by Hammertime 2 Quote

Issue I had with the JB era was we were soft as butter. Captained by a bull who plays like a sheep after the whistle and only drops the gloves if someone hits him hard (Accairi was it?). 2 fights a year from Gudbranson wasn't a deterrent. Look at what CHI's done to make sure Bedard and their young stars are insulated. Dorsett was a punching bag, fighting way out of his class. Joshua is at least something. Foligno and Marroon versus Aman...ok. There's a reason why Marroon spent half his career on good teams. Wasn't he playing with McDavid ... yes he was. Schenn instead of Desharnais, i'd take that trade anyday. Not sure why anyone would be against having a pugilist on our team, until the 2010's it was the norm, and part of Canucks hockey.
