Master Mind Posted November 15 Posted November 15 Pretty reasonable deal, I would have expected over 4m. 1 Quote

Jess Posted November 15 Posted November 15 Big steal, buy maybe age plays a factor here. He's been one of the most underrated defensemen in the league the past few years. Quote
Honkin Hronek Posted November 15 Posted November 15 I think this all but confirms that Theodore is gone after this season. Quote
Captain insano Posted November 15 Posted November 15 Guys comparable to zadorov but gets half the term and 2/3 of the money Quote

Theodore has a 7.425M extension kicking in next season? I wonder if Hague might be the odd man out as a pending RFA, Vegas has Petro for another couple seasons after this one and all of Whitecloud, Hanifin, Theodore, and McNabb now locked in for at least another three seasons They've also got Korczak up and playing games Edited November 15 by Coconuts Quote

They have almost $74 million tied up into 14 players next year. Quote

Yeah, it's gonna be interesting, they still have to extend or replace Hill too, and the same goes for Samsonov Eichel's a pending UFA after next season, that's coming down the pipeline too I think they may have to trade Karlsson at some point, cap increases will help but they'll probably have to shift some cap out Petro's got a NMC but I wonder if they approach him about it at some point Edited November 15 by Coconuts Quote

Definitely, I wonder what it'd cost though, he's a solid defenseman in his prime. Averaged 18ish minutes the past three seasons but has dipped closer to 16 minutes this season in the 9 games he's played. Size is obviously there too, even if he doesn't rack up the PIMS. He’d rack up the PIMS easily in a Canucks jersey. 1 Quote

Not too hard to keep their roster intact with projected cap limit of $92m next season. $18m in cap space with 9 players to sign: Hill $5m Samsonov $2m Hague $3.5m Howden $2m Holtz $1.5m Schwindt $1.5m Depth F $900k Depth F $800k Depth F $800k However, you just know the VGK roster at the end of this season won't look the same as it does now! So will be interesting to see what they do... Quote

Who’s contract would you rather right now, pretty obvious choice for me, seems like everyone only remembers those 7/8 games zadorov was a beast and forget the lazy guy from early on that disappeared in games 6/7 vs Edmonton 1 Quote
