I watched that game and not long after that goal another, even more lively bouncer came in on him but he managed to save it. They showed him laughing when he did and got cheers from the crowd.

You never go full Mike Keenan.

 

I think Tikhonov called it the biggest mistake of his career as a coach.  Myshkin wasn't terrible or anything and while Tretiak didn't have a history of winning all of his highest pressure games he also wasn't really prone to Luongo or Cloutier style meltdowns.  You have to give him more than goal I think before you decide he's done for the night and can't right the ship.
