smithers joe Posted November 22 Posted November 22 what schools have you gone to, elementary, high and higher? Quote
-dlc- Posted November 22 Posted November 22 Because some of this info is related to possible security questions, I don't give much out! But I have worked and volunteered in a few schools now and think that it's time for me to pack it in. I've never been sick as much as I have lately so I'm reassessing that decision. But I love it and my heart will be broken....the kids are awesome and fill my heart with joy. 2 Quote

RupertKBD Posted November 22 Posted November 22 Graduated from PGSS in '79. Before that I went Connaught Elementary and Connaught Jr. High (which unfortunately burned down several years ago) Since then, I've taken a college level Marketing course and Electrical Foundations here at the college where I currently work. I've also completely my A+ certification through Comptia Online. Quote

The schools I graduated were all in Richmond and are still operational. That's all I'll say. I have a High School Diploma, A College diploma in Marketing. I've gone to the Justice Institute, and I wasted a year of my life trying to get into Broadcasting and got a diploma in that. I should have just gone into engineering or geography or Urban Studies. Popular Post smithers joe Posted November 22 Author Popular Post Posted November 22 for me it was carleton elemtary, gladstone high school and electronic school in halifax while in the navy. i had to take a lot of courses while working with developmentally challanged adults and then for working with young offenders. when i went to gladstone we had the 2nd most students in vancouver, john oliver was first. my senior year, we were the only school to beat john oliver in baseball. it only happened once. when we marched out of the gym for the last time, we were told many students were weeping. you'ld think they would be happy to be rid of us oldies. still think, they were some of my most memorable years. 4 1 Quote

GO PACKERS! PE TEACHER: go run around the block and come back US: run to our friend's car, have a smoke, wait for the runners to be seen coming through the path then go join in. After high school I got a really good job (to this day, one of the best....I applied for it thinking there was no way in hell I'd get it...but I did). Had to take an 8 week course beforehand on substance abuse/addiction/co-dependency, etc. Also was BCRPA fitness certified 100 years ago. 1 Quote
Popular Post -dlc- Posted November 23 Popular Post Posted November 23 OK, we decided to throw together a girl's football team. That's my friend, Tracy (in front) and me (back, game face ON) in our gear on the sidelines during the game. We had to borrow the boy's pads (ew). I realized after the game I had my shoulder pads on backwards. We went up against John Oliver....they had a team that was a full time team. We beat them. Oh yeah. 6 4 2 Quote
