Anyone else missing Iain MacIntyre's presence on Sportsnet?  I always looked forward to his intermission interviews.  He seemed to have a personal connections to the coach and players and could often add a deeper analysis because of it.  Current crew of Satiar Shah and Landon Ferraro don't show much personality or charisma and I don't find either of them particularly enlightening.  Sat sometimes has interesting stats but he also talks too fast and uses too many words to say the same thing...  Landon seems best at describing details of plays from the game.  I understand that he's a rookie and will likely get more comfortable in this role... Iain as a true journalist has a more engaging and colourful speaking style.

Anyone know anything about why we're not seeing him anymore?

He’s still on 650, isn’t he?

He’s “the closer” on 650 post game. Great insights. I always end up staying up late just to hear his thoughts. He is also on the various Vancouver radio shows throughout the day. But I agree, it’d be great to see him on TV intermission features

He's my favourite "insider". I enjoy his takes and he's also a super nice guy (bumped into him one day, he lives in my area).

He's never too extreme, keeps things level headed and seems like a voice of reason at times.

I agree with all the positive comments about him, so I wonder why he is not commentating on Sportsnet TV broadcasts?  Do we need to start a Change.org petition/fan protest to get him back???
