Overview

Canucks are coming off an absolutely dominating game against the Bruins with a 2-0 win yesterday in B-Town. Well, at least one Canucks was dominating but the rest were good when they had to be - heck, a W is a W at the end of the season be they good, bad or ugly.

 

Penguins are 10-5-2 overall in their last 17 games against our Boyz and with Gino / Sid on the ice, one cannot discount the Penguins. The Penguins have points in seven of their last 10 matchups against Vancouver dating back to Oct. 27, 2018 (6-3-1). During that stretch, Pittsburgh has tallied four or more goals six times. Pittsburgh has points in five-straight home games against Vancouver dating back to Oct. 16, 2018 (3-0-2).

 

Pittsburgh has gone 4-6-2 at home and 7-12-4 overall. The Penguins have a -33 scoring differential, with 58 total goals scored and 91 conceded. Vancouver is 11-6-3 overall and 8-1-0 in road games. The Canucks have allowed 61 goals while scoring 63 for a +2 scoring differential.

Penguins: 2-5-3, averaging two goals, 3.3 assists, 3.4 penalties and 7.1 penalty minutes while giving up four goals per game.

Canucks will be tired, it was a hard fought victory against the Bruins with a lot of shot blocking and sacrificing the body. 

We can assume Silovs will start in net tonight. Along with Sasson coming in and Bains coming out. Rest of the line up will stay relatively the same I believe.
