A Quarter for Porter: Making the Playoff Odds

Now that we have the first quarter of the season under our belts, and American Thanksgiving is past the NHL playoff odds start to mean something!

 

As of the end of 29th Nov, the odds of the Canucks making the playoffs are:

In think considering how much money we have had out of the lineup with injuries it is really pretty solid results.  If Demko comes back in Demko form and we have a duo between the pipes like that, the rest of the season looks bright!

 

The warts that most folks thought the team had were the warts that have come out.  Two top four D and maybe one top six forward short of being an elite team.

 

Sherwood has been a bit of a revelation, and Debrusk has come as advertised but took a bit to find his feet on a new team and in a new system.
