Popular Post Biff Tannen Posted Thursday at 08:21 PM Popular Post Posted Thursday at 08:21 PM (edited) Getting this up a bit early cos I don't know when I'll be about tomorrow. Assuming Petterson is back so I'll update the lineups when I can, Canes playing today so maybe I'll update the stats too. My first attempt at one of these so the formatting might be a bit trash, I'll make it prettier next time. Forwards Defence Tenders Mid-season, mid-table clash of the meh. Obviously not been the greatest Canucks season so far, with injuries, trade rumours, and drama gossip overshadowing some pretty mediocre hockey. Play has improved a bit of late though and they're on pace for the most OTL points ever, so that's something. The Canes haven't been great either, but lead the league in shot differential and PK% so won't be an easy game. I can't believe Burns is still going, averaging 21+ mins a night and hasn't missed a game in over a decade. Hopefully Andersen's still out, cos even though he's getting on too, all their other goalies suck pucks. Maybe I'll add more gumph tomorrow. Trigger warning for a gaping vagina. Dumb Nuck Posted Thursday at 09:32 PM Posted Thursday at 09:32 PM Just looking at the standings and it may not seem like it but we’ve only won 2 of our last 10 games. 1 1 1 Quote

OldFaithfulcap Posted Thursday at 10:31 PM Posted Thursday at 10:31 PM (edited) Good effort @Biff Tannen As a former north carolinian resident I will say that the canes are 100% North Carolina and 0% South Carolina. Alas north carolina can't handle snow so with the fri/sat snow forecast i'm not going to drive down the 4 hours and risk getting stuck on a highway. Will aim to go to New York/Jersey for part of that roadtrip unless we are completely out of the race in March. Edited Thursday at 10:32 PM by OldFaithfulcap 2 Quote
greenbean30 Posted Thursday at 10:42 PM Posted Thursday at 10:42 PM With Silovs getting sent back down, I would assume that means Petey will be activated off of IR tomorrow and will be in the lineup! Quote

I really hope they do well and rebound, my fan support is pretty evident, but it's not a cheap trip (msg tix are insane) so going to wait and not going to book early. Cheapest MSG seats are $240 for the nosebleeds and MSG has horrible views. Quote

I might go to that game or the Islanders one. 1 Quote

Popular Post Dr. Crossbar Posted Friday at 01:44 AM Popular Post Posted Friday at 01:44 AM (edited) In 1970, a new Canadian team was sent to the ice by the NHL for an unknown expansion they all committed to ... Many of these players escaped to the WHA hockey stockade before playing in the Pacific Northwestern underground. Today, still wanted by fans, still seeking Lord Stanley's cup, their ghosts survive as soldiers of hockey fortune, as a new generation takes up the cause. If you have a problem, if no one else can help, and if you can get behind them, maybe you can root for: The V-Team. Edited Friday at 02:03 AM by Dr. Crossbar 1 3 4 2 2 Quote
Sativika Posted Friday at 02:01 AM Posted Friday at 02:01 AM I believe there's no need to remind y'all how relentless the Canes played us back in October in our rink. We were fortunate to get a point in an OT loss. With that said.....................................IT'S PAYBACK TIME MUTHA' FUGGAHS! The 1st of another back to back. I'm gonna go with our boys. They's a gonna do it! Go Canucks Go!!!!!!! 1 Quote

Taphouse Canuck Posted Friday at 02:40 AM Posted Friday at 02:40 AM Hard to see a W coming up, but if they play like they did yesterday they might steal it. Trouble is that they have been so bloody inconsistent, I don't have a lot of faith that they will reproduce Wednesday's effort However, we live and hope right? Quote
