I'll start with mine.  I actually have two:

1. is it possible to "size up" the existing emojis, because it's hard to tell based on current size on my desktop computer is the emoji to the right here is grinning or has a cut neck with stitches: 😁

2. if the emojis from the old site could be migrated (or at least made available) here.  I'll definitely miss the option of using , for example.

1. Right now we have the following football related threads in the Other Sports sub-forum:

   • Whitecaps and MLS thread (62 pages)

   • 2026 FIFA World Cup

   • European Football thread

   • Canadian Men's Soccer

   • Canadian Women's Soccer

   • World Soccer: 2025 Club World Cup

   • Concacaf Gold Cup Tournament

   • Whitecaps 3 Time Canadian Champions!

   • Copa America

   • Euro 2024 GDT.

   Two more threads are coming very soon: 2026 Concacaf Club Cup (the tournament draw is scheduled for this Tuesday, December 9th) and new Whitecaps soccer stadium at PNE. Separate thread for Vancouver Rise FC could be created as well. I truly believe that the football (soccer) topic deserves its own sub-forum. The question is where to place this...

2. Currently, the Other Sports sub-forum is temporary included in the General Discussion forum. Since CFF is the sport forum, this would be logical to create General Sport Discussion forum at the same level as the Canucks Discussion and Hockey Discussion forums. New Football (soccer) Discussion sub-forum would be placed under the General Sport Discussion forum along with Olympic Games sub-forum and Other Sports sub-forum. Sub-forums for other major sports (Blue Jays/MLB, BC Lions/CFL, Toronto Raptors/NBA) might also be created.

And as Trump is usually saying in the end of his posts, "Thank you for your attention to this matter!" 😃

There's a few options for placing it, i'd suggest making it the same level as Canucks Talk to show equality. You could make a subforum under Hockey otherwise.

First, put matchrelated threads in a subforum.

So GDT, PGT is on the same place without distraction.

The prediction thread might be better to keep in Canuck Talk.

Second, if a thread is about a player, either merge the threads, in "Canucks talk", in one thread about par example Petey or merge player threads with the player thread in Roster or Prospect.

The same with management threads.

Both player and management can have a subject that make it important enough to be in a seperate thread as a tank thread or Petey prediction thread that goes on for a long time.

If you don't want to merge the threads put player and management discussions in a subforum as the game related ones.

Canuck talks will be a much more interesting place if so and can create a lot of other threads when space exist there and the site will be a more enjoyable place.

Interesting threads will have a longer lifespan also since they is shown on the first page.

Arena, practice facility, memerobilia, history and a lot of other threads disappear.

I feel like this board has potential to be the biggest Canucks forum with the most activity, right now the only established Canucks board is HFBoards.

Instead of having a generic title for this forum, how about something more impactful like Canucks Community Forum?

I am willing to donate to this cause and give the Canucks.community domain name if we want to move forward with this. 

If you're like me, you use your smartphone to check CDC religiously each day for the fan forum. As there isn't a forum app, years ago I found a way to create my own... sort of. This is for those of you who don't know but will appreciate this neat little trick:

Download 'Website Shortcut' from your app store (I use an android, and it looks like this the attached example). 

I then put in the new forum website address www.forumcanucks.com

I chose a logo (I went with the stick in rink, although I dwitch it up from time to time), and voila - it looks and feels like a forum app!

I hope this helps improve at least some fans' experience with the forum 🍻

Domain Change

Apologies for the kerfuffle with the domain change - that too much longer than I had anticipated. The primary domain is now canucksfanforum.com, and forumcanucks.com will forward to it.

Discord

Totally unrelated, we have a discord that will serve as a backup if the forums go down. You can also see if I'm playing Cyberpunk. The discord is very lightly moderated and will be used for announcements and panic posting. Here is the link:

Donations

Thank you so much to everyone offering to donate and help keep this place running financially. I am planning to open a donation when the other forum has officially bit the bullet. I'm not interested in making any money - all proceeds will feed directly back to operating costs (roughly $135 CAD). There will be full transparency, with all donations and expenses tracked monthly. Ideally we'll be able to get a few months ahead of the subscription.
