Playoff games do not count, regular season games only.Games required is at least 41 NHL games in 2023-24, or 25 NHL games for goaltenders, or 60 NHL games over the past two NHL seasons (30 for goaltenders) in order to meet exposure criteria. If you meant the 10 game limit for a season, yes, it is the same for goaltenders.
As for European leagues, while I don't know all of them, I am looking at Czech Extraliga, NLA, SHL, DEL, Liiga as leagues that would count as a professional season. I will put those league's in the post for reference. ThanksSo for example, I have Aku Raty. He has played 4 seasons in Liiga (started as an 18 year old). Only 1 NHL game. He would be exposed if I don't protect him?

He should be. He was making smart plays most of the year and had a good series against Nashville. I can’t figure out what’s going on with him.
Cole has been the most consistent guy where I'm like "oh that's a smart read" to "what the f#*k?!" within like 5 seconds.

I’m 50/50 on it. Juulsen was much more disciplined than I expected last game. Although he made a thoughtless play that led directly to a goal against…
but then Cole has been just plain awful for us this series, I’m not sure what the answer is…

If I'm Soucy, I'm letting them chase me all game if they want.

Having Juulsen in is nerve racking.. he's solid when he plays a simple game but when he tries to do too much or gets pressured.. he takes bad penalties or makes bad plays in the defensive zone. I hope he keeps it simple.
So he's Ian Cole.

On the first replay of this save, watch Derek Ryan's leg. He takes a kick towards Silovs with his skate. That looks like a very dangerous and intentional play to me.

Could watch this on repeat all day

He's just not a good coach. Here in Vancouver, and as Interim Head Coach of the devils: https://www.allaboutthejersey.com/2024/5/3/24146877/travis-green-really-should-not-head-coach-new-jersey-devils-worse-than-lindy-ruff
I'm shocked they actually want him.Might be more of a case of no one wanted Ottawa

Jordan Staal?
How does a player who’s a -14 with only 30 points and only plays 15 minutes a night get nominated for the Selke trophy? What a joke.
Auston Matthews? He’s not even a regular penalty killer. Didn’t even start killing penalties until this season.
Petey should be ahead of both of them. And it’s not even close. This was Petey’s best year defensively by far. And the team was one of the best in the league too. He should have easily been a finalist.
Something tells me you might be a bit biased about Petey!

Losing last night would not even guarantee a Round 1 Home game 7. However, winning last night would guaranteed atleast 2 more home games in Round 2.
Sure but game 6 means another game people will go to a bar or whatever to watch. I'm sure local businesses don't mind. Plus there's a home viewing party for food, drinks, merch, etc. So there would be that plus if we advance then we get the guaranteed home games on top. Or go to game 7 and so on.
-
It's all about playoff revenue. Going to game 7 means more money rolling in for the team and businesses.
How else can you explain why we haven't challenged any questionable goal?
In game 3, could've preserved a shutout, but didn't want to risk a PP being still up 2-1 at that point. Makes some sense.
Game 4, goal putting us down 3-1, should've been a challenge. Pretty obvious kicking motion. Worked out in the end, get a pass.
Game 5, Silovs pushed into towards the net. Why no challenge?
No home playoffs for 9 years. And as another poster said, this probably isn't our year anyway, so might as well milk in the money while we can.
Conspiracy aside, go Canucks go!

Go with Tolopilo, 4 wins 4 different goalies!
