  1. I like the changes to the lineup if that's what Tocchet goes with. Good balance on the top 3 lines and the 4th line should provide a mix of smart defensive play and good energy. Go Canucks Go
  2. Don't agree with you about Lindholm. Suter has been pretty decent too. The other 4 I would agree with.
  3. Hronek has really fallen off since mid-January. Including playoffs, he has just 12 pts in his last 49 games. He has a hard shot, but he always seems to miss the net. Canucks PP needs to be better. They're having trouble gaining entry and when they do gain the zone it seems like they can't get it off the boards. Silovs gave us a chance to win with some big stops. I thought Garland was great all night. Mikheyev is basically playing like a faster version of Loui Eriksson right now. Canucks need more from him.
  4. Petey looked really engaged defensively last night and he just barely missed on a one timer as well. I agree that Petey's line is gonna break out in this series. Hoglander is working hard. Mikheyev and Petey just need a goal to go in to boost their confidence.
  5. Pettersson helped shutdown McDavid tonight.
  6. The Joshua - Lindholm - Garland line was money tonight. Amazing tip by JT and several nice defensive plays by him as well, getting his stick into the passing lanes. Another great game by Zadorov too.
  7. Canucks in 6. Canucks PP and Pettersson are gonna have to step up for this series.
  8. Between the regular season and playoffs, Mikheyev has just one goal in his last 55 games. I'd put in Pods for Mikheyev. Even if Pods didn't score, he would at least be putting some good hits on the Preds defense.
  9. I'd be interested in seeing Makar's stats this season at even strength when he's not on the ice with MacKinnon.
  10. One thing I noticed is that Demko is the only one of the three nominated that put up better stats than the backup goalies on their own team. To me it shows us just how important Demko is for the Canucks.
  11. Will Myers be back in for this game? Canucks need to make it easier on themselves and score first this game. I'm gonna say 4-2 Canucks in this one.
  12. I don't think DeSmith was bad, but he wasn't good either. First Nashville goal was flukey. Forsberg goal was a great play by him. 3rd Nashville goal was a result of a bad turnover by Petey. Nashville did a great job of getting in the shooting lanes. They had something like 32 blocked shots. Canucks shot a ton of pucks wide, many probably because they were trying to get a shot around a Nashville player in the shooting lane. Canucks created a lot of good scoring chances and with some better finishing or puck luck this could have easily been a different game.
