Quick update: @PeteyBOI's game has been scheduled for May 20. He'll continue the CDC/CFF tradition of playing in a stacked game...including a special appearance from none other than @falcon45ca who is playing on behalf of the Syndicate this year.

Excellent, I'll pass your name on to the organisers! We can definitely do a practice game here. Maybe I'll even host it. There are also sometimes practice games on MU. There aren't any in sign-ups at the moment but I'll let you know if a new one is being run. Lol that game you played on MU was a weird one, and heavily influenced by mechanics. Don't sweat it.

Like when it is? There will be 120 players across 8 games, so those 8 games will be spread across May/June. You'll get to give your preferences and the organisers create game times/EoD times/phase lengths based on everyone's preferences so that you'll get something agreeable. It's mainly about getting a chance for people from different Mafia backgrounds to get together and have fun. There's also an ongoing spec chat of dozens of other people watching and commenting on the games. It's great entertainment for everyone. But if you're not into it don't worry! I'm sure 112 can step up.

Peteyboy is a good choice. If anyone else wants to put their name forward, though, nothing wrong with that. We can always vote. We ideally have a backup anyway. (112 is a good backup choice too.)

Hello friends - it's that time of year again, when we force someone off to MU to participate in the annual 'Champs' tournament. I think it's nice to send someone who's not done it before (which is what we usually try to do) but it'll depend on who has interest. Last year, @Lewitelli had one of the best PR performances of the tournament in his game, and many neutral spectators felt he was robbed when he wasn't selected to advance.

That was one of the very few cereals I did not like as a kid, so I don't get it tbh.

Yeah it was sent to me during the game and I didn't want to interrupt, then forgot about it till now. But I imagine we can get a short extension if we ask nicely. I am personally okay with this but miiiight need to check if the organisers are.

Yeah scum chat is looooooong and it's just Petey and Brad basically. I occasionally popped in to say hello and let them know they're doing well, Zfetch did the same, and Alison told them they were idiots who would never amount to anything. Brad left the chat later. Petey and Brad carried this. I just focused on rising above the PoE line early on and keeping other names in the PoE as potential miselim bait. Last couple rounds I coasted hard.

Sure, he can die too, sooner or later. Personally I'd rather get our impossible-to-solve slots out of the way though. NIK has done enough I could, if inclined and re-energised after a scum hit, re-read and form an actual opinion.

I normally avoid trying to 3P hunt because it's kind of futile. But I feel like the choice/pattern of kills is too odd and illogical to come from certain players. Like I've holstered shots before and such too, but why D2? Or did they try to shoot Max? But if they were targeting scummy slankers why go after 112 and KZA next? And if they were changing tactics, why change tactics to go after two of the more towny people in a gamestate that the mafia were doing better in? Unless I'm missing something, I can't see that coming from the likes of many players left alive. It's either targeting people who were on to them, or it was random and based on personal knowledge of the players. That points to DM, SD, or maaaybe Zfetch...? CDCers who have a reputation of being inactive or oddball.
