McDavid has got some of the biggest loser aura. Canucks have got his number. The goals were strange? Is that similar to how interesting they were as well? -
[Report] Brind'Amour's future in Carolina up in the air

I was thinking Toronto as well. Keefe is most likely gone and they've got the wallet to go for the best available. He would do great with them which would suck. -
You gotta be halfway across the universe with writing Petey off as a mistake. Embarassing. Go outside.

[PGT] Brock Boeser vs Preds - Game 4, April 28th, 2024
DeltaSwede replied to MikeyD's topic in Canucks Talk
These are the wins that can get a team to the promised land. If the Canucks advance you know they will have this game to look back on. Huge confidence boost. Unbelievable result tonight and how about that Brock Boeser. Shout out Silovs who was all business. -

Holy hell what a game. I think I forgot to breathe for about half the game. Way to steal one and the PK continues to deliver. Weird game. LFG -

This is such an apologetic view point but I think it holds some truth. The Canucks have had their doubters all season long and the goal posts keep moving when they disprove the critics. Adversity. That's the last piece of the recipe. This team, this season, needs to face adversity. Adversity came on knocking in a massive way tonight. Easy to turn negatives into positives when you're #1 in the league.

You're completely right. This is not what anyone wants. But hey, we are still in a much better position than I'd ever dream about to begin this season. Imagine the room right now. Dead quiet. What a slap in the face. What a time be alive. To reconsider, to "man" up again. It's all about the playoffs at this point. Let's take this adversity, look within, come back hungry again. Come back thinking "who are we to think we are anyone?". If that doesn't work, this rum is really helping me. Cheers Deb, what a game by JT.

Something to keep in mind, if any team in the NHL could afford a game like this, it's the Canucks. This type of game could even be in their favor. Any thought, any idea of just cruising till the end just went out of the window for everyone in the entire organization. They didn't even play a bad game.
