  1. My username is actually my first initial and my last name. Been a huge fan going back to 1985 (I was 7 at the time) and excited to see what our team can do in the next round
  2. That game was unreal though. Have to think that keeping Lindholm with Petey is the best move going forward. They're line looked really dangerous last night
  3. As long time fan (been watching them since '83) I have seen the charging penalty called before. However, the caveat to that is that it has not been consistently called since probably '93 and certainly never called in the playoffs. It is like the ridiculous "holding the stick" penalty that rarely gets called during the playoffs, except against the Canucks
  4. I could really get behind this. Silovs has earned the opportunity bad on what he did in Abby this year, and with what he is currently doing in Vancouver. Glad to be a Canuck fan
  5. Picking the Canucks in 5. Silovs has been amazing so far. IF this goes to 6 or more, Demko should be back. All three of our goalies are better than anything Edmonton has. And we have owned them all year. Should be a fun series for us
  6. But neither has officially retired from the league as of yet (as players that is)
  7. This was a really tough loss, despite playing it best game of the playoffs since game 1. I agree with most here that Mikheyev is not doing anything for the top 6 that can't be provided by others. He needs to be demoted or benched at this point. I just can't see any justification for sending down Podz as he would fit in nicely with our middle 6 at least. I hope we win the next one and can move on to round 2, as I do not like our chances if it goes to 7 games.
  8. Really looking forward to this game. Thinking the Canucks pull off a win tonight but it will be a tough close game. 4-3 Vancouver. GCG!
  9. This is going to be a tough series but I still think Vancouver can win it in 4 if they continue to play their game and not drawn into Nashville's shenanigans. On another note, how awesome would be to here the Canucks come out to this tonight: https://www.google.ca/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&opi=89978449&url=https://m.youtube.com/watch%3Fv%3DGzZWSrr5wFI&ved=2ahUKEwjPsP_a0dSFAxXDATQIHdfoDgsQ78AJegQIHRAB&usg=AOvVaw2ZQvjBtasRPlRx55DSbMbm
  10. So, I haven't seen this posted here yet so I am posting it for people's perusal. Even though the interview was with Kesler, I would take this with a grain of salt. Canucks Army is not the most credible of shoes most of the time but the interview was certainly interesting. Personally, if true, I would love to see it happen. Enough time has passed and he has made attempts to mess the bridges that were burned on his departure. Of course there is another former Canuck who has not officially retired, who would be with of the same gesture. Two actually: Matthias Ohlund and Alexandre Burrows. All three have so much to this team and should never have left, in my opinion. The article along with the line interview are included below. https://canucksarmy.com/news/love-retire-canuck-ryan-kesler-talks-possibility-ring-honour
  11. Really would like a win tonight to solidify our place in the west. Again, a beatable team of we play smart and come prepared to play a FULL 60 minutes. As always, GCG!
  12. So with Tocchet saying Zadorov will pay tonight, I figure we will pull another win tonight. It will be a close, tough game. Canucks 4-3 in OT. GCG!
  13. Indeed it is. Perhaps they will stay away when we win the cup?
