I honestly thought I was the only one who saw it. I think the first thing that popped into my mind when I saw the movie for the first time is "Wow! That Mayor looks exactly like Craig Button!" Didn't say it out loud of course, my kids think I'm weird enough as it is....

Sorry.... if you can't see the difference between those incidents and what happened with Huggy, I doubt I'd be able to explain it to you. AS I said to the other guy, carry on with believing that McDavid actually intended to slash Huggy in the face.....

I think that's the smart play. I like how both Myers and Z have played, but I think it's a good idea to have one of the guys with the giant wing span on each pairing....

It's not to let the zebras off the hook altogether though. When they saw Huggy was leaking, they should have huddled with the linesmen and asked if anyone saw anything. I didn't see that happen....

It can't be challenged by the opposing team. Otherwise, it would be an obvious call by RT and a 4 minute penalty for McDavid. Reviews by DoPS are common for Major penalty calls, but I doubt there are any, over accidental high sticks, even when they draw blood.

Pretty much exactly what I said in my post prior to the one you responded to. I don't buy into the conspiracy theories. Not now, nor in 2011. Missed calls happen, but there's no concerted league effort to try and scuttle the Canucks. I realize that isn't a popular opinion around here, but it is what it is.

I think it's fairly self-explanatory.

Because I'm a realist who's been around the game for over half a century and I understand how things work. And hatred of Gary Bettmen isn't what defines one as a Canucks fan. I've been on the bandwagon since day one, but I don't lay the blame for every perceived slight of the Canucks at the Commissioner's feet.

So you found a slo-mo video....still proves nothing. As I said before, no-one would take that chance, knowing what the result could be.... I doubt I'll change your mind though, so carry on believing what you will.
