  1. DoPS has been a bit of a clown show this playoffs. Many worse things have happened so far in these playoffs and even in this series.
  2. Hasn't found his game since his knee injury. We are not in a position to wait for him to figure it out. I like him when he's on his game but it hasn't been the case for quite a bit and upgrades and retention of players is needed.
  3. I know I am willing to make sacrifices with picks to move him. I don't think we can afford to take any significant step back. Having 3 good Cs puts us at a significant advantage over most teams. An argument could be made though with upgrading the blueline over that.
  4. Let's control the play next game and break the will of the Oilers in a blowout victory.
  5. We didn't generate a lot of shots but held our ground defensively. The PP was huge tonight and needed to be. We played a physical game too. We should generate more next game and blow out the Oilers. Let's take the series at home in game 5.
  6. Striking early and often tonight will help thwart any bounce-back the Oilers might have. We need to keep up how we played after 4-1 in game 1.
  7. They folded after 1 period in terms of carrying play and McDavid was a no show. I expect a more full effort from the oilers and their stars and we shouldn’t take them lightly Friday. They’re used to losing wild playoff games and bouncing back. Not too long ago against the Flames they lost a wild game 1 then dominated the rest of the series. We will have to match their energy by playing with the same effort we played with after 4-1 while staying out of the box.
  8. When they showed him talking to the trainer I could easily read out him saying back. Camera angle was killer there.
