Hey guys, got some stuff caught up today. Everything that was posted on CDC for roster moves etc should now be complete, all that should be left are moves posted here. Everyone please double check and make sure there's nothing left from CDC that I may have missed. I'm not sure if CDC is going to still be there but read only or what, but I'm under the assumption that it will just be gone. If it's gone, any signings or moves not updated will be gone with it. I will get caught up on moves made here after work!

On the training camp/depth chart page, not especially. That page is a guideline. On the rosters page, yes, players should play their own position within reason, as has always been.

There is no set site for positions, EP, HockeyDB, NHL.com or CapFriendly are all acceptable. If there's a player who's position info you'd like updated, just PM me and let me know and I can take care of it.

Once you've responded to the activity check, I will move your Training Camp page to the front of your team chart. This will be the primary page for Training Camp. In order for a player to be officially assigned, you must post where they are being assigned, and if they are to be assigned to the minors and require waivers, they must be placed on waivers and clear in order to be assigned. As players are assigned, they will be indicated on the Training Camp page as assigned by either bold text for Active roster, or italics for players in minors or junior. Players MUST be assigned in order for them to be placed on a roster. Any players not assigned by opening day will be automatically placed on waivers if required and assigned to minors.

Hey MK, I've got you on the radar for sure. Just trying to sort out with work and the forum move at the moment. Basically I want to give everyone another day or two to make sure everyone gets moved over to the new site. I don't want to have someone interested miss out and then end up with an empty team 5 days later because someone didn't come over from CDC. I will get back to you asap, I don't want to wait much longer than 2-3 more days because as you noted, there's not a ton of time before the season starts. I'm sure we'll be able to sort something out with you though! Thanks!

Yes. I'll be trying to make sure I have everything up to date, all draft picks properly assigned etc. over the next week given the time crunch. Should be no problem but I don't want to procrastinate lol.

Hey guys, just a reminder from the old thread as originally posted June 29th. So, given the turmoil of the sudden forum move, we're a little behind on the date. But, consider waivers active from this point now. ALL players who require waivers will have to clear them in order to be assigned to the minors, even if they are currently listed there on your Roster page. Players must be properly assigned by the beginning of the regular season. I will get more of a chance to respond to PMs hopefully tonight or tomorrow morning!

EXPANSION RULES!! Teams have the option to protect either: 8 forwards, 3 defence, 1 goalie 7 forwards, 4 defence, 1 goalie 10 skaters (any position), 1 goalie All players with NMC's will be automatically protected unless the clause is expressly waived for the purposes of the expansion draft. NTC's or L-NTC's do not apply and players with those clauses can be exposed. As for exempt players, the exemption status has bumped up from 2 seasons to 3. So players with 3 or fewer professional seasons would be exempt, as well as unsigned draft picks. A professional season is 10 games or more, either in the NHL, KHL or in a European professional league (Czech Extraliga, NLA, SHL, DEL, Liiga). We are not including AHL seasons for this purpose. Minimum exposure requirements remain the same; all teams must expose at least 2 forwards, 1 defenceman and 1 goaltender who meet the exposure requirement criteria. As before, qualified RFA players will count. Pending UFA players will also count, provided they played at least 41 NHL games in 2024-25(20 for goaltenders). Exposure Requirement Criteria: - player must have played at least 41 NHL games in 2023-24, or 20 NHL games for goaltenders, or 60 NHL games over the past two NHL seasons (25 for goaltenders). - at least one exposed player must be under contract for the 2024-25 season. Every team's protected list must be in by 11:59pm on June 12, 2024. Teams who have not submitted a protection list by that point will have their entire roster (except for exempt players) exposed and eligible to be selected. Anaheim will have until 8:00pm on June 18, 2024 to complete the announcement of their selections. Anaheim will select 30 players of their choosing, one from each team. Trades with Anaheim are permitted.
