  1. I've certainly been critical of Petey though I feel it has been justified. It's a story you see all the time, a player signs an extension then falls off a cliff. There have been several injury denies by him and the club, he also played game 82. A lot of players are playing hurt at this time of year though, he is probably no exception. With all that said I think Petey played well last night. He is starting to let his shot go which is encouraging. I would say he played decently, for Petey to be 'great' imo he needs to produce offensively. If the Canucks are to make a go at the cup that Petey has to come out at some point. But the Petey of the last 3 games have been an improvement for sure. Hopefully he continues to build.
  2. In order of priority for me: Zadorov, Lindholm, Joshua, Hronek
  3. Have to give the team props. They/cole had a rough start but they kept with it and played their game until the end.
  4. How much of that was generated by McDavid and his 150 points? I feel like Hughes probably generated more of his 92 points than Bouchard did of his 82.
  5. If the Canucks are to have a shot we absolutely need to be hard to play against. Joshua, Myers, Zadorov, Cole and Soucy need to lay the body RESPONSIBLY. If we can do that cleanly I think we can do it.
  6. One of Micheal Jordan's most famous games has been coined "the flu game". He went off for like 63 points or something with the flu during the playoffs.
  7. With no real defensive stalwart on the Oilers, I could see the lotto line having some success this series when we get a preferable matchup (eg. after icing, or tired Ekholm). I can also see the Joshua - Lindholm - Garland line playing well. Hopefully Hoglander can contribute as well. Theoretically, there should be more open ice for these guys to work.
  8. LFG! I'm pumped for this. Can't wait for the oilers to face an actual defence and solid goaltending. Hoping Zadorov lays down some nice clean hits. My list would be McD, Kane, Hyman, Bouchard, Draisatl. Also, shout out to @Rocket-68 for the lotto ticket. The disclaimer always makes me laugh.
