  1. Yup let's close out this round in game 6. Heck I'd be ok even riding Silovs until he loses next round to give Demko more time I feel like that's another ace up our sleeve. It would give the team an emotional and confidence boost when and if we need it
  2. Yeah it's sickening how much they whine and wait for the ref's help. The players and fans have all gotten used to it to the point they're so entitled that they're complaining about the reffing this series when it's been so lopsided in their favor. The phantom call on Petey and Mcdive on Joshua was 2 underserved power plays last night. Let's not mention all the other missed ones like the Kane slash on Zadorov shin pads after the whistle. I'm sorry when did 2 handed swings with the stick become legal? The fact that Mcdavid and Draisaitl does this regularly without a penalty is baffling. No 5min and a game to Ryan on the spear to Hogz' nuts? A suspension on Soucy when Mcdavid started it with a slash? Ignoring Hymans crosscheck to Z's head in the same scrum that required stitches? The blown 4 min double minor Mcdavid high stick on Hughes? The reffing has been crooked this series (as well as last round) but our guys pushed through. The fact that Tocchet admitted to being upset at the bench yesterday is telling. We've been screwed by reffing and still have our foot on the Oilers throat. I love this team. This team is the team I always dreamed of. Heart, Grit, Toughness, Size, Skill. We have it all.
  3. Yup so much crying on oilers hfboards about how knobby has overplayed mcdrai for the first 3 games lol Little do they know, if he didn't over play them, we would have swept them.
  4. The moment I realized he's back is when he did that lateral shift move out of the corner to create a scoring chance. Haven't seen him try that in many games. That used to be his go to move. There was one play where he needed to go after the puck faster but he sort of stood there frozen and lost the puck battle. I am positive he thought about that play after the game. Good news is Petey is Re-engaged. If he starts playing like Petey from first half of season, oilers are done and I do believe we become a cup favorite.
  5. Well. McDavid has 1 point in the last 3 games... I think if we storm out of the gate and obliterate everything in sight, they'll first try to fight back and then resort to diving and if the refs don't help, they'll fade quietly. Worst thing the refs can do tomorrow is prop them up and give them life.
  6. Totally Last game should show them if they are the aggressors and dictate tempo and style of game, Edmonton has no answer. Mcdrai and ekholm are hurt and running on fumes. This is when we have to push them harder. If you push them hard, they'll make mistakes like last game where ekholm went off on a linechange and Mcdavid didn't check Miller for the game winner. They'll also be ripe for the picking if Zadorov or Soucy comes up ice looking to catch them with their head down. Fatigue leads to injuries because their heads are not tracking the game at a 100 percent
  7. Lol the oilers board on hf is hilarious. Complete implosion. What I find funny is that some are complaining about reffing. Are they for real?
  8. Fitting that the whole media crew laughs when Petey says he didn't get an explanation on his penalty We all know what happened there. Canucks looked dominant on the PP and we took over the game starting the 2nd period. Refs had to do something lol
  9. But but but he's toxic! @stawns as he sits on his couch munching on Doritos.
  10. Im really hoping mcdrai are gassed. They've logged alot of minutes... They are great players and it wouldn't surprise me if they turned in an amazing performance next game but here's to hoping they are tired and at 70%
  11. I don't know if both teams would be shaking their heads. Edmonton should be happy with the reffing. It's tilted in their favour
  12. Well technically no, it's not saying that. It's saying no penalty will be assessed.
  13. Wow Vancouver has done it. They kept their head down, took all the BS reffing and played through it. They've won the respect of the analysts. Even today when they were puzzled about the Petey call was the first time they openly questioned a call that went against us. usually they just gloss over it. Then they see the Mcdavid dive on Joshua and must be shaking their heads when one team is completely dominating the other and getting screwed by the refs. I guess they do have a degree of moral compass. They must know this is wrong.. I predict a really fairly reffed game next game. The press has jumped on the canucks wagon and know we are the better team. Nhl knows another reffed game like this will be an embarrassment to the league.
  14. Oilers in 5.... Err Oilers in 6.... Errr.... Oilers in 7?
