Damn... I saved every game from this past season on my PVR but began running out of space recently so bought an adapter to send my PVR HDMI signal to my PC so I could save them all to hard drive using OBS. But when I went back in my history, I found that the PVR had already begun deleting the oldest files in my history so I lost everything up to January So I immediately began transferring games after last night's game which requires me to watch or, at least, monitor them in real time. Not only does this let me remove commercials and intermissions etc but it's the only method my system is capable of. Can't simply transfer files from my PVR like you would from one HD to another. So, yeah, it's gonna take a while to move them all but hey, it's a labour of love But... THE POINT of my story is this: I just watched a repeat of the January 20th home game vs The Laffs where we went up early, they came back to tie, then we put the pedal to the metal and finished them off 6-4 in classic 2023/24 Canucks fashion with goals and helpers from all kinds of guys up and down the lineup. And Tronnah did absolutely nothing more than what Deadmonton are doing. We just played OUR GAME with confidence and enthusiasm I wish I could play this game back for the boys in the dressing room before tomorrow night's game to remind them what they're capable of Hopefully Toc does the same thing in his own way and the team comes out on fire

Some fun trash talk on a Facebook hockey group Some typical Coiler fan yelling at Canucks fans for blaming refs and claiming it’s all been completely fair and the same to both teams. Just playoff hockey blah blah blah I say… if you believe the officiating and discipline fields in this series have been anywhere close to even, it’s you who has rose coloured specs man. I get that it’s the playoffs and all teams play harder and get away with a ton and it’s part of what many of us love about the tournament and the game itself And I hate it when ppl pin losses on the refs. Suck it up and fight through it But I challenge you to show us comparables to the following to prove there’s been no league bias given to Vancouver’s opposition in this one Quinn Hughes gets bloodied by a high stick and the ref doesn’t even bother to consult with his on ice crew to see if anyone saw it (major penalty averted) Tyler Meyers is bloodied by a 2 handed crosscheck to the face but only the double minor for high sticking is called (major and a game and possibly a suspension or fine averted) Soucy and Zadorov get suspension and game respectively (deserved) for retaliating after the final whistle. Hyman gets nothing for identical crosscheck to Zadorov’s face in the same play (suspension averted) Pettersson gets what most are calling the strangest penalty in SCPlayoff history for Charging without even moving from his position on the ice except to spin and jump to avoid a charging opponent (penalty averted AND given incorrectly in same play - not as fired up about this one as similar but less crazy blunders happen to all teams unfortunately but, again, show me a comparable) God luck man. I’ve no idea why but some here seem to hate him or his delivery. Go figure. For me, he’s the most insightful and entertaining colour guy in the business and I’ve always enjoyed and learned from him and his work from international games and NHL alike. So glad he’s likely with Shorty full time next season. Only wish we had the two of them or even Shorty n Cheech doing all our playoff games

I've never really understood all the hate he gets around here I understand that much of it goes back to his rationalizing of the crap we dealt with years ago and his burrows rant and no love for his attempted apology But all that aside, I always enjoyed his references to Canadiana, music, literature and other random stuff that at least offers a different style than most of the former players and insiders we're forced to endure That said, how can you sit there and rattle off a litany of nonsense calls we've been given (or not given) and in the same breath say, But it's a great game??? No dude, it WOULD BE a great fucking game if the refs weren't making a massive joke of the greatest tournament on the planet (not just ours but many games have been clearly managed in favour of league favourites). So, yeah, bite me Ron. Eat a bag of smashed and unwashed assholes
